What do people say about my classes?
Having attended many Life Drawing sessions run by Trish Jubb I can wholeheartedly recommend them to beginners and practised artists alike.
Tuition is available if required, and is delivered with expertise and a non judgemental attitude.
Beginners will feel quite comfortable, particularly as the Life models that Trish employs are very professional and a joy to draw.
Artists who are regulars to life drawing are left to their own devices if that is your wish.
The regularity of sessions helps with keeping "the hand in", so to speak. Thoroughly recommend.

Just to say thanks for the life drawing session on Friday. I enjoyed it and look forward to attending future sessions.
I found the progression from warm-up exercises, to a couple of longer poses, before one long pose in the second half, worked perfectly. The relaxed but very clear support and advice from Trish also helped enormously.

Many thanks again for great art classes. Every session is different and I feel that I'm learning a lot.

I greatly enjoy your life drawing classes and look forward to coming as often as I can

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Trish and Lily for the life drawing class you did for the group of artists at Lilliput church hall in March. We all really enjoying the 3 hour session and this encouraged us to also attend the drop in class on Thursdays, portrait drawing, at the Parkstone church hall.
Thanks again and see you very soon for some more inspiration !

Just spent the morning at Trish and Lilly's Portrait session at Parkstone Baptist Church. What a great morning! We had a wonderful model who kept a relaxed pose while we drew him in any medium we liked. Trish was a fantastic tutor with a gentle way of suggesting tweaks and modifications to your work while encouraging you to explore your talents. I felt I'd learnt so much just in two hours. Thanks!

I found trish’s art classes to be very relaxed. Her style of teaching is gentle and encouraging, so it gave me the space to try new things. I also like the way she gets you to see from different perspectives to see your artwork from fresh eyes. I would recommend this for all levels, and encourage anyone to go along that wants to try it out. Jen 2018
A broad group of artists sharing the enjoyment of a 'supported' life drawing class - really enjoyed this afternoon session.
Moordown Community Centre is a good location for all sorts of 'classroom based' sessions.

Progress comes with practice, and especially so in drawing. Revisiting the book Drawing on the right side of the brain, I decided to copy John Singer Sargent’s Mme Pierre Gautreau. The instructions suggested it take an hour using a plastic picture plane, etc., as I had previously. On impulse, and using just a pencil, this time I produced a good freehand copy in just six minutes. Very pleased, I realised that I owed this result to my regular attendance at Trish Jubb’s life drawing classes – an excellent and affordable way of learning how to draw instinctively in a relaxed environment. Highly recommended!

We were keep busy, but not overloaded throughout the day - which meant getting the best value from the time on offer. I felt that by the end of the day my confidence in my abilities had been enhanced, and it was all good fun in a friendly, supportive atmosphere."
"All in all a fun and useful day - I would recommend this to friends."
"I love art and find it my therapy to help me cope with all that life throws at me. Today gave me hope again that I still could go to art college and achieve what i wanted to all those years ago. It was wonderful and so fulfilling to get positive guidance from Trish and all the other lovely people there."
"Trish the teacher was very professional and introduced each exercise with new tips - so we didn't have a whole list to remember through the day. It was a progression of skill building - and felt very natural. The models were good fun and at ease with their task too. It was fun to try different materials, and using different coloured paper was good rather than it all being white."
"I've been to a number of life drawing classes in the past and often the teacher just leaves people to get on with it. Trish's exercises were really useful, and she explained everything very well and didn't try and teach too much at once."
"All the paper and equipment was provided by the tutor and she wanted us to use as much paper as we needed. I also got to try new materials that I'd not used before. Tutor gave us free reign to do our own drawing in our own styles and gave us advice if she felt it was needed."
