BH Art - Life Drawing for Schools and Colleges
Life Drawing has long been considered the best way to learn to draw and continues to be expected in Higher Education today. Some courses, such as Animation, consider it an absolute necessity and may even use it as part of the selection criteria.
Your students can be a step ahead of the others with specially tailored sessions for whatever stage they are at, from GCSE to Foundation, working with a clothed figure for younger students and with actual Life Drawing for the older student.
Tutor Trish Jubb specialises in Life Drawing and can offer the convenience of visiting your school for as many sessions as you require with an experienced model, to provide valuable transferrable drawing skills for your students and enhance their portfolios.
Trish has worked with A level students from a variety of schools at AUB and is skilled at teaching the subject to people from absolute beginners to students on BA/masters courses and professional artists, bringing the extra insight of her time spent learning with and teaching life drawing to animators.
Sessions will include a wide variety of exercises and techniques such as short gestural drawings and looser drawings, measuring, mark making, mixing materials, the head, sketchbook skills and self- and peer-assessment, amongst many other things.
The above is based on 6 two-hour sessions, however it can be adapted for fewer or more sessions or for any individual requirements you may have.
Materials are included.
